We care about your goals as much as we care about your pain. We help active people return to doing active things — quickly, and pain-free.
Our Physical Therapy Approach
At Catalyst Athletic Rehab and Performance, we provide the complete physical therapy package. We work one-on-one with you to find and treat the cause of your pain. We educate you on the proper exercises to correct the problems, enhance performance, and reach your fitness goals.
“What is the best part of my job? Definitely helping a client achieve his/her goal, whether it’s completing a “pain-free” run for the first time in a month, or qualifying for the Boston Marathon. I love getting that message from a patient letting me know they accomplished what they set out to do.” Bill Meritt
Listen to Learn
The most important thing we do is listen to you. Knee pain while you run? Foot issues limiting performance? Post-op discomfort restricting activity? We seek to understand the cause of your pain, not just treat the symptoms.
Treat to Train
When pain inhibits activity, it is mentally and emotionally taxing. We want you to keep moving during treatment, and we expect to see efficient results. If you don’t see positive changes in three sessions, we’ll help you find an alternative.
Educate to Excel
Everything we do together involves education. We help you understand pain and your body, so you can recognize an issue before it limits performance. We teach you exercises that enhance mobility, strength, and athletic performance.
“After just three sessions with Bill, I am able to do exercises I have not been able to do for a very long time without excruciating repercussions. I can also sit without pain, ride a spin bike standing up, do squats and lunges, and I am becoming flexible again!” Kathy Barton
Your Health Is Personal To Us
Physical therapy is not a one-size-fits-all treatment plan. A variety of treatment techniques like manual therapy, dry needling, and exercise will help you pursue your training and fitness goals. Our one-on-one sessions are customized for you and will adjust as you progress.
